Sinbad Concert to Serve as Fundraiser

Comedian Sinbad will be performing live at the Walter Gerrells Performing Arts Center March 15, and it is going to be a very special performance for Carlsbad. Concert promoters plan on donating $4 from every ticket purchased to the family of Samuel Jones, a 4-year-old who died in a tragic accident last week.

“We just want to do what we can to help,” said promoter Curtis McKinney. “This is a family friendly comedian, and if it is a sellout we can raise $8,000.”

Tickets are available at www.carlsbadlive.net or at Gossett’s Jewelry.
